3 Great Wallpaper Apps for Android

By September 5, 2017 No Comments

We live in a world where an average person unlocks his smartphone more than 80 times per day. I don’t know if you are surprised or not, but it sounds like a big number to me.

Imagine how much influence on your mood has something that you are looking at 80 times per day. So, setting a funny, beautiful, or inspirational wallpaper on your smartphone can really make a difference for you. For that purpose in this article, I will present you the top 3 wallpaper apps for Android.

Backdrops is a great looking app that offers you hundreds of unique wallpapers made by the team of Backdrops. It also has a community section where users can share their own images. What makes Backdrops unique is the “Wall Of The Day” feature, which shows different wallpapers every day.

The only downside of Backdrops is that it has in-app purchases for some exclusive wallpaper packs. But if you don’t mind paying a couple of dollars for unique and beautiful wallpapers, this app is definitely for you. However, you can also try the free version of Backdrops, here is the link to the Play Store Backdrops.

Wallpapers may not be the most popular app made by Google, but it has a wide variety of beautiful images that will draw your attention. The app has different categories like Art, Earth, Landscapes, Cityscapes, and a couple of others, which are continuously updated. The best thing about Wallpapers is that it has an option for automatically daily wallpaper changing. You only need to choose the desired category, and the app will daily change your Android wallpaper.

If I had to point out some downside of this app, that would be the lack of a search function. Other than that Wallpapers is an excellent app, which is free on the Google Play Store, and I highly recommend trying it. Here you can find the download link Wallpapers.

Backgrounds HD

Backgrounds HD is the oldest wallpaper app on our list, but that isn’t a bad thing by any means. This app has the biggest wallpaper database with numerous categories, and I’m sure that you will find something for your taste. Additionally, Backgrounds HD provides you a Feed section where you can see images posted by other users.

I must note that some wallpapers in this app are not as high-quality as you may expect, so do not be surprised if you find some low-resolution images. In any case, Backgrounds HD is an entirely free app so there is no reason why you shouldn’t try it. Here is the link to the Play Store Backgrounds HD.

Wrap Up

Taste is something that we should not discuss. So, I won’t try to convince you using just one wallpaper app over the others. Feel free to try all the apps on our list and share your thoughts with us. Also, if you have any suggestion for other great wallpaper apps, don’t be shy to tell us your experience.
